What is SuboxoneNYC?

SuboxoneNYC is a self-pay physician practice focused on continuity of buprenorphine care. Care is delivered by physicians, by appointment, through secure video and structured follow-up.

How are physician evaluations conducted?

Physician evaluations are conducted by secure video. Follow-up is scheduled around clinical need, refill timing, and ongoing physician oversight.

Who is Dr. Edward Ratush?

Dr. Edward Ratush is the founder of SuboxoneNYC and the clinical architect of its continuity standard. He is a board-certified psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist with more than 20 years of experience in addiction medicine and buprenorphine treatment.

Who is my treating physician?

Your treating physician is the physician responsible for your care at a given stage of treatment. Care is delivered by physicians operating under the SuboxoneNYC continuity standard.

Will Dr. Ratush be my doctor?

Not necessarily. Your treating physician may be Dr. Ratush or another qualified physician practicing under the SuboxoneNYC continuity standard.

How much does treatment cost?

$100/month. Self-pay practice. Practice fees are not billed to insurance. Medication cost is handled separately through your dispensing pharmacy.

Does SuboxoneNYC accept insurance?

No. SuboxoneNYC is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance for practice fees.

How do I start treatment?

Start by completing the secure intake. After intake and the enrollment deposit are submitted, a physician can review your information and the practice can coordinate the next step.

What does the enrollment deposit cover?

$500 enrollment deposit. Non-refundable. Not applied to future monthly fees. Does not guarantee prescription, treatment acceptance, or any specific outcome.

Where is SuboxoneNYC located?

SuboxoneNYC is a physician-led telehealth practice serving patients in New York and New Jersey. Care is provided by appointment rather than through a public walk-in office model.

What does by appointment only mean?

By appointment only means intake, physician evaluations, and follow-up are scheduled in advance. It is not a walk-in service.

What if I lost my previous provider?

If you lost your previous provider, SuboxoneNYC may be able to help with continuity and transfer-of-care situations when clinically appropriate and scheduling permits. Start with the secure intake and have your current medication details and pharmacy information ready.
